Reapers ("Reapers," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website reapers.pk and the Reapers mobile application (collectively, the "Service"), a community and networking platform for gamers and game developers. 01. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
Username, first name, last name, email address, phone number, and password.
Profile picture, bio, role(s) (Gamer, Developer, Expert), skill tags, favorite games/genres, portfolio links, website, and LinkedIn profile.
Chatroom and direct messages, event listings, game demo videos and thumbnails, demo reviews and ratings, team/skill-matchmaking requests, and any uploaded content.
Credentials, portfolio, specialty tags, and availability if you apply to become a verified Expert.
Session bookings with Experts, including scheduling details and call logs.
Information you provide when contacting us for support, inquiries, or platform feedback.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
Device type, operating system, app version, IP address, and general usage patterns (pages/screens visited, features used, session duration).
Crash reports and error logs, used strictly to maintain and improve platform stability and performance.
1.3 Information from Third Parties
If you sign up or log in using third-party authenticators (such as Google or Apple), we receive basic profile information (e.g., name, email address) from that provider as authorized by your permissions.
02. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account and profile.
- Provide core features: chatrooms, direct messaging, event discovery and posting, demo uploads and reviews, expert booking and video sessions, and team/skill matchmaking.
- Facilitate connections between users (e.g., team requests, expert bookings).
- Send service-related notifications (e.g., event reminders, booking confirmations, new messages, review notifications) via push notification and/or email.
- Maintain the safety and integrity of the Service, including content moderation and enforcement of our Terms & Conditions.
- Analyze usage to improve features and performance.
- Respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Service.
- Comply with legal obligations.

03. How We Share Your Information
Your profile information, posted content (demos, events, chatroom messages), and reviews are visible to other users as intended by the relevant feature — this is a community platform, and much of what you post is designed to be seen by others.
We share information with trusted third-party providers who help us operate the Service, including cloud hosting and database services, video-calling infrastructure for Expert sessions, push notification services, and analytics/crash-reporting tools.
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Reapers, our users, or the public.
If Reapers is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
04. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

You can view and edit most of your profile information directly within the app.
You can edit your profile, block and report users, and delete your account in the app under Settings. See how to delete your account.
You can manage push notification categories directly in the app's Settings.
You may delete demos, event posts, or messages you have posted, subject to platform moderation records retained for safety purposes.
06. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest where applicable. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
07. Children's Privacy
Reapers is not directed at children under the age of 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
08. International Users
Reapers is based in Pakistan. If you access the Service from outside Pakistan, your information may be processed and stored in Pakistan or other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your home country.
